What is different about the new Online White Card course?

From 20 October 2017,  the new White Card Course, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry will replace CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry.

Many components of the course remain the same. However, the new course includes updated assessment requirements, which mandate that the assessment of performance evidence be done by direct observation of the learner by an assessor, either by observing the learner physically, or by observing the learner via audio and visual media in real time.

In particular, you will be assessed on correctly fitting PPE including a hard hat, eye protection/safety glasses, high visibility clothing, and hearing protection (ear plugs/muffs). If you don’t have PPE, don’t worry we can send you a kit (for training purposes only) for a small fee.

We will simply assess you via your mobile device or computer fitting your PPE.

You can view the full assessment requirements on the Training.gov website here - https://training.gov.au/TrainingComponentFiles/CPC/CPCCWHS1001_AssessmentRequirements_R1.pdf
